Professional Development Program

In the accounting profession, the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is the single most important skill that determines a professional’s success in business. The Professional Development Program is expressly designed for senior staff members with potential to excel, ensuring firms benefit from their input, as well as addressing any succession issues your firm may have. It includes comprehensive leadership, practice development, client satisfaction and added value programs. Participants will be equipped with all the necessary skills to consistently perform for the team.

With the current economic climate it’s these skills are more important than ever. Making rain is soft skill that is rarely taught to up and coming managers and partners. Yet the ability to generate business is often the only metric by which these staff members are judged.

The 2020 Professional Development Program is designed specifically for senior team members and will teach them:

  • How to network effectively
  • How to identify new client opportunities
  • How to close sales
  • How to be an effective communicator
  • How to become a “famous person”

The program takes place over 2 days with a 3-month follow up teleconference to assess progress and counter any roadblocks.

To ensure an optimal learning environment each cohort is restricted to 15 individuals. The program will help participants gain new skills and confidence, but they will also be held accountable for results.
